Testing Requirements
Every doe brought to our farm must have a negative test result for CAE, CL, and Johne’s within the year. Has to be from a certified lab and the test results must be in the owner's name. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Health Requirements
Every doe brought to our farm must be in good health. I will inspect your does as you arrive and if I see any signs of sickness, wounds, or parasites (Including lice and mites) we will reschedule when the problem is taken care of and the doe is in good health.
Cost of Buck Service
The cost of buck service is $100 for the first doe then $50 for each one after. If you have a doe that is from us it will be $50 for the first then $25 for each one after. This must be paid upon drop off or before breeding. This includes an ADGA service memo for each doe. We do not rent out our bucks or allow them to leave the property, under any circumstances.
Driveway or Boarding breeding
If you know when your doe is going to be in standing heat we can do driveway breeding. If you want to do a boarding breed we will set an appointment for drop off. There will be a $15 per week charge. If your doe will be boarding with us, we will require you to bring hay and grain for her to eat. We do not want to upset her stomach.
Choice of Buck
We currently have six bucks that are available for stud service.
Guarantee of Pregnancy
If the pregnancy doesn't stick the first time we offer to do another breeding with no charge for the stud service but will charge the $15 per week boarding fee.
Ultrasound
We offer an ultrasound 30 days after breeding and then again 45-55 days after breeding. The 30 days will check for pregnancy and the 45-55 days will check for how many kids (rough estimate). The price of both ultraounds are included in the stud service fee.
Please let us know well in advance if you want to use one of our boys so we can try to accommodate your schedule for when you would like your doe bred, especially if you need to board your doe here. We have limited space for outside does so making arrangements well in advance will give you the best chance of getting your doe bred when you want!
